Mission Brief 002 – Curiosity is a Superpower

Continuous learning isn’t just about formal education. It’s about staying open, asking questions, and seeing every moment as a chance to grow. Curiosity leads you to new skills, relationships, and opportunities. The more questions you ask, the more doors open.

Children ask over 40,000 questions between ages 2 and 5. Most adults ask fewer than 20 a day.

A curious mind is more adaptable, resilient, and creative. It’s the foundation of emotional agility and lifelong growth. Lifelong learners stay relevant in changing times.

When I was a little, I was the child who would constantly ask questions that started with the word why. I directed those questions primarily to my father and he took the time to explain the answer as best he could. That habit of asking why never left me and I found it useful working as an analyst, because I didn’t just want to know what was happening, I wanted to understand why it happened. Looking back, curiosity has been a companion through my life and it started with simple questions directed to my dad.

Curiosity didn’t just help me learn—it helped me connect the dots. It made me resilient. And it’s still my compass today, especially as I build Earthling Playbook.

Ask “why?” at least five times today about different things you encounter. Let curiosity drive you instead of judgment.

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” – Albert Einstein
